How do you plan an upgrade budget?
Subtract your chosen reserve from your current balance, then divide by the current upgrade cost if repeated purchases actually have that same price. This worksheet provides arithmetic to use with a calculator; it does not predict a hatch or automatically read your game account.
Budget and training formulas
| Target | Inputs | Calculation | Condition |
|---|---|---|---|
| Spendable money | Balance B; personal reserve R | max(0, B − R) | B and R use the same money unit; reserve is your choice, not a game rule. |
| Affordable purchases | Spendable money S; cost C > 0 | floor(S / C) | Only for a constant cost. Recalculate after each purchase if prices change. |
| Observed training rate | Starting Speed A; ending Speed Z; duration T > 0 | (Z − A) / T | State the time unit, treadmill setup, boosts, and date. Avoid upgrades during the sample. |
A worked arithmetic example
For hypothetical inputs of 1,000 money units, a reserve of 200 units, and a constant cost of 150 units, spendable money is 800 units and floor(800 / 150) is 5 purchases. These are invented example inputs for the formula, not observed Backflip for Animals prices.
What cannot this worksheet calculate?
Hatch probability, guardian escape success, pet strength, and Speed-to-biome thresholds require data this wiki has not verified. A budget ceiling does not guarantee a gameplay result.
